We now offer high quality laser etching of the XShear products. 

To order simply fill out the form on the product page prior to adding it to the cart.

Please note this process may add 1-3 days to the shipping time of your order.

At this time we offer the pictured configuration with text in 2 locations and an optional Star of Life or Maltese Cross. 

We offer custom configurations or logos for orders of over 10 units, added fees may apply, contact us directly for more information.

LASER PERSONALIZATION – TERMS & CONDITIONS

XShear Trauma Shears

By purchasing laser personalization or engraving services from XShear, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

1. Customer-Supplied Text & Content

  • XShear is not responsible for spelling mistakes, typos, punctuation errors, or incorrect information provided by the customer.

  • Automatic spell-check and predictive text may alter your intended message – please review all information carefully before submitting.

  • Once personalization is submitted and the engraving process has begun, no changes or cancellations are possible.

2. Artwork & Design Approval

  • Actual engraving results may vary in appearance, size, shading, or positioning based on material and machine settings.

  • Engraving on stainless steel, titanium coatings, or other substrates may show natural variations in contrast and finish. These are not considered defects.

3. Placement & Size Adjustments

  • We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to the location, sizing, spacing, or orientation of text and graphics to ensure optimal engraving quality.

  • Final layout and engraving decisions will be made at the discretion of XShear’s production team.

4. Warranty & Replacements

  • Engraving does not void the XShear warranty.

  • If a product is replaced under warranty, XShear will reapply the original engraving only if the personalization was purchased from XShear.

  • Custom engravings or engravings not applied by XShear cannot be transferred to a new product.

5. Return & Exchange Policy

  • Engraved or personalized items are non-returnable and non-refundable, except in cases of manufacturing defects unrelated to engraving.

6. Intellectual Property & Approval

  • By submitting text, logos, images, or other artwork, the customer confirms they have full legal rights to use and reproduce the material.

  • The customer assumes all responsibility for any copyright or trademark infringement issues related to submitted artwork.

  • XShear reserves the right to decline engraving any content deemed offensive, unsafe, or legally questionable.

7. Engraving Limitations

  • Engraving depth, visibility, and contrast may vary due to metal composition, coatings, surface texture, or lighting conditions.

  • Engraving may fade over time with heavy use, especially in EMS/fire/rescue environments. This is considered normal wear and is not covered under warranty.

8. Production Time & Delays

  • Personalized orders may require additional processing time.

  • Production timelines are estimates only and may change due to equipment, supply, or demand factors.

9. Liability Limitation

  • XShear is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages resulting from custom engraving.

  • Maximum liability is limited to the cost of the engraving service purchased.

10. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order for engraving or personalization, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed all text and artwork for accuracy.

  • You understand that engraved items are final sale.

  • You accept all risks associated with custom engraving.

  • You agree to all terms listed above.
