I've owned my shears and this holster for around 2 years now. This holster has begun wearing down from daily use. If I am moving faster than walking speed. I need to have one hand at the holster in case they pop out. Phenomenal shears but if I were to go back, I would get the locking holster.
This is our first pair of medical scissors. I have no idea why we waited so long. Throughout the years we have had multiple occasions where a pair of scissors this these would have certain tasks so much easier. They cut like butta!
My wife uses these with scrub pants. She can wear this on her waste band or hooked to her outside thigh pocket without weighing down her scrub pants. She highly recommends these for any ER Nurse or any prehospital provider (she does both). She’s used many products over the years & are her number 1 go to for when she’s working in the ER.
This holster fits snuggly into my pocket and it comfortable for a 12hr shift in the ER. However I have noticed that the metal on the inside of the holster is scratching the finish on shear.
Shears fit nicely, not too snug, not too loose. Just what I was looking for thanks
