I bought this product because I wanted to rival the efficacy of Raptors;
while dropping down in size and weight.
The weight is comparable to the Raptors but worse they don't fit in the sleeves on 511 pants due to obnoxiously large handles.

Therefore if you don’t want to buy (and wear) the holster do not invest in this product.

If they make the handle a bit more reasonable they have the best sheer on the market.

Great set of trauma shears! Prefer these to my leathermann raptors

First, I will say I’m not one to leave reviews except these scissors warranted one!! I’ve had these scissors for about a year and I’ve used them on numerous occasions. They always cut much better and easier then anything else I have ever used! Well today I really put them to the test! I cut off a very heavy duty motocross boot with ease!! I was actually shocked how easy they cut the leather and reinforced rubber!! I have nothing but high praise for this product!! Outstanding!!

Best sheers I’ve ever used. Mine are three years old that get used everyday I work and still sharp. I have even gave them to a doctor who cracked a chest with them to do a cardiac massage and fix an aorta rupture. The pts life would have been lost without the sheers. I have been getting co workers to toss their raptors in the drawer and go buy a pair of x sheers after they see how easy I cut through belts, boots, Carhartt bibs, and leather pants.

Recently got my XShears. Sharpest easiest cutting shears I've ever used. Boot leather, belts, denim seams and zip ties cut with little effort. Raptors have a lot of features
but are really complex, bulky fidget spinners compared to the XShears. If you want the fastest cutting shears these are all business. I wish they came with a holster but for the price it's not a big deal.
