It works great. It doesn't matter which way you put them in it holds them tight. You can put it on your belt or radio strap. Whichever you prefer. Great value

I really liked this holster! Very small, didn’t fall off. Very good retention. In fact, that’s the only gripe I can think of- almost too tight of retention and not adjustable. It definitely took 2 hands (even after >1,000 times going in and out) to extract. But is rather it be tight than loose. But that’s the only complaint. The shears stayed right where I expected them to be, and were accessible, and not too bulky
